Hello all, I made a monk who is ready to fight the doppleganger at lvl 10. He is a Mo/R, and I need some help to defeat him.

I cant smite because of the new AI, he runs away from AoE and uses his bow to hit a 180 on me.

If I get closer, I get that lucky damage of 92 instead of 180 because for some reason his chaos axe is weaker. I've tried prot spirit but that only makes him kill me about 10 seconds slower.

I have tried many ideas but none are working.

Please let me know what you guys think.

If your /Ranger this should be easy.

Dont fight him with a build you normally would - instead - fill most of your bar with useless Nature Rituals that the dopple will spent the whole time casting - and bring a bow (and high marks) and own him while he sits there setting spirits.

If he runs out of spirits to set and starts attacking you, just start strafing with a wand, you'll dodge his attacks and just wand him to death from there.

Yeah, I havea R/Mo and I did the exact same thing. Bring 3-5 Rituals that take a long time to cast so he keeps on casting them. when he attacks you, strafe

and you'll own him.

Bring a bunch of nature rituals like everyone said, but also bring some traps. While he lays rits, drop your traps, then run straight back. He'll trigger all the traps, then be easy pickings for your bow (high marks) or wand.

Note: The AI will still not use healing breeze except to counter degen (bleeding, fire, poison, etc) so if you want to bring that, leave barbed trap at home.

Bring all rituals and then bring life attunent (sp). in case he finishes early and you havnt killed him yet. He will use that and his attacks get reduced by like 38% or sumthing. You dont need to use this but he will. Good luck

Since nobody else is going to say it, I will...

The easiest way to beat him is to go and level up.

Monk is the easyest char to use while killing the dopleganger...
Equipment... Armor and a ranged weapon.
Skills... Healing Breeze ONLY

Just stay a good distance away from the dople ganger and atak him with your weapon and use Healing breeze to heal yourself. The dople ganger will not use healing breeze so you dont have to worky about it healing. This works perfectly.
